The main divisions in the USA are between cities and rural. Memphis and Nashville vote Democrat. Also Austin, Charleston, New Orleans and Atlanta. The Central Valley in California votes red. So do the people East of the mountains in Oregon.

Along what lines would you split the USA?

Agree with almost everything here but why do you put the blame at the feet of Jewish Marxists? Since when have they held disproportionate power? In my view this is the inevitable outcome of giving women an equal political voice. It’s little wonder to me that the progressive-conservative divide is essentially a male-female one. They want care divorced from harsh truths and they demand that the political right act like the cowed husband who’s expected to provide for the family and keep his mouth shut. We got where we are by a million small “aww but they’re suffering and you have so much, you’re a bad selfish person for standing on principle” concessions. America lost its way the same way that married men lose their dignity: by a thousand tiny cuts. We endure the first few out of a misplaced sense of masculine virtue, then out of stoic perseverance, and finally out of defeated resignation. The country will collapse when the next big crisis hits and the elite-competence cupboard is bare. I really hope the president is a woman in that moment.
